The Reward Amount
Each eligible market has its own reward amount and accrual window, shown in-product. Reward periods are based on UTC. A market only accrues rewards while it is marked as currently earning, even if the market itself remains open for trading.
The displayed amount is the total committed reward available for that market’s current reward period, not a per-user entitlement. It is shared among qualifying participants. A committed reward may not be fully distributed when there is no qualifying activity, and individual payouts are rounded to USDC precision.
Headline figures like “up to $5,000” refer to campaign ceilings — not a
per-market or per-user amount. Individual market rewards may be much smaller.
How It Works
Post resting orders that make the market easier to trade. Each random sample is a separate opportunity to earn. To count in a sample, an order must be live at that moment and pass the market’s current qualification checks:- Quote near the midpoint — the order must be within the market’s qualifying price distance. Markets near 0% or 100% probability use a tighter range.
- Meet the minimum remaining size — the unfilled part of the order must meet the market’s minimum USDC notional. A partial fill can move an order below the minimum.
- Be live when sampled — you can update your orders frequently, but the sampling schedule is random. Keeping qualifying orders live consistently gives them the best chance of being present for every sample. Posting only for brief windows makes it likely that you will miss random samples.
How Qualifying Liquidity Is Weighted
For markets with a midpoint above 4¢ and below 96¢, both one-sided and two-sided liquidity can earn. Qualifying liquidity receives more weight when:- It is two-sided — quoting both sides earns a bonus.
- It is at the top of the book — the best qualifying quotes earn a bonus.
- It is closer to the midpoint — quotes accrue rewards faster as they move closer to the midpoint within the qualifying range.
Eligibility
To earn Liquidity (Maker) Rewards:- The market must have a reward committed for the current reward period and be accruing rewards at that time.
- Your resting orders must be live and satisfy the market’s price-distance and remaining-size requirements when randomly sampled.
- Your account must not be excluded from the rewards program.
You must hold an eligible Hit account in good standing. Availability may be
subject to regional and jurisdictional restrictions, and Hit may require
identity or wallet verification before paying rewards.
Settlement and Claims
The daily reward period rolls at 00:00 UTC. Settlement is scheduled for 00:10 UTC, after which settled rewards are added to your claimable USDC balance. Until settlement, any earned amount shown in-product is an estimate: other participants can add, remove, or improve their liquidity and change the final shares. You can claim once your combined claimable balance reaches the minimum shown in-product. Claims are processed asynchronously on Base, so a submitted claim may remain in progress until its on-chain transaction is confirmed. Balances below the minimum remain available to accumulate with later rewards.Terms and Conditions
Rewards are variable and not guaranteed
Rewards are variable and not guaranteed
Liquidity (Maker) Rewards are discretionary and variable. They depend on market
conditions, qualifying criteria, total participation, and the amount and
usefulness of eligible liquidity you provide relative to others. No
specific per-user reward amount is promised, and participation does not
guarantee any payout.
Scoring and parameters set per market
Scoring and parameters set per market
Exact qualifying criteria, scoring metrics, weightings, multipliers, and
timing are set per market, are not fully published, and may change at any
time without notice. In-product values shown for a market (reward amount,
qualifying price distance, minimum size, and accrual status) describe the
current reward period. The committed reward amount is fixed for that
period; other qualifying parameters and accrual settings may be updated.
Reward amount and settlement
Reward amount and settlement
Each eligible market has its own reward amount, settled in USDC on Base.
Any “up to $5,000” or similar figure is a campaign/headline ceiling, not
a per-market or per-user amount. Reward amount, settlement time, claim
minimum, currency, and network may change at Hit’s discretion. Claims are
sent to your associated wallet/account; you are responsible for keeping
payout details accurate.
Right to modify, suspend, or end

disqualify participants, and suspend accounts for suspected abuse; its
